Dr. Opare earned his BS degree in Food, Nutrition and Dietetics and a Masters of Public Health from UC Berkeley . He earned his Medical Degree at UC San Francisco and his Certificate in Acupuncture at the San Francisco College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Opare practiced in the San Francisco Bay Area from the mid 80s until 2006, coming to Atlanta in 2006. Dr. Opare has extensive experience in allopathic/oriental primary care and emergency medicine, osteopathic manual medicine, fasting and addiction medicine. He can quickly comprehend and analyze your specific needs with your specific medical challenges in mind. He is one of the few practitioners of integrated East/West medicine with professional training in Nutrition. He is one of an even smaller community of adepts of Traditional Chinese medicine that endorse vegan and raw vegan diets.
